The antique Eastlake Chaise on our balcony was purchased from the auction of Ms. Marie Stuart this winter. She was a VERY impressive and historical figure who led the women’s suffrage movement and helped earn women the right to vote. She held secret meetings at her mansion in Peru and was a philanthropist whose donations and money can be seen all over the USA.
